Picking the right computer

 A few months back, I was looking to get a laptop. I had to think what I was going to use it for. Here are some basic things you need to think about when getting picking the first operating system, laptop or desktop, and how powerful it should be.

First off, what operating system should you choose? Pc, or mac? Pc's are simple to use, and work with a lot more programs in general, and the software is made first for them making it even better for the pc. But the pc is more unstable, and can die a lot faster then any mac. It is also a lot less cash.

On the other hand, mac's are really powerful, and are really good for professional projects like making movies, or anything of that sort. They are really fast, even in its later years, and probably won't have to replace it for a long, long time...

Now you should have some basic knowledge on what you should get. Now things get a little harder.

You need to decide what you need it for. If you are only going to use the computer to write papers for college or work, then you won't need a very good computer at all. But if you are a hard core gamer, then you should stick with something more powerful, like a alienware computer.
